03/08/2025 0839hrs, Deputy Zenteno investigated a potential stalking complaint at a residence on Sandy River Road in New Sharon.
03/08/2025 0907hrs, Sgt. Sholan received information at a residence on Flag Star drive in Strong regarding an active Somerset Sheriff’s Office case. He passed the information along to Somerset SO.
03/08/2025 0918hrs, Sgt. Sholan responded to a parking complaint by the laundry mat on Depot Street in Wilton.
03/08/2025 1025hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a parking lot accident at the town dump in Phillips.
03/08/2025 1402hrs, Deputy Morgan received a welfare check complaint on River Road in Avon. The person to be checked was located and found to be okay.
03/08/2025 1410hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated an animal complaint on Reed Road in Salem Twp. where it was reported that a neighbor’s dogs broke into to the complainant’s chicken coop and killed half of his chickens. The next day Bennet Bruce (59) of Salem Twp. was charged with Allowing a Dog to be at large.
03/08/2025 1921hrs, Sgt. Clement received a 911 call at a residence on Evergreen Lane in Industry. This was an accidental dial by a child.
03/08/2025 2010hrs, Deputy Maccione conducted a welfare check on a man at a residence on Mt. Blue Pond Road in Avon who has been acting strangely.
03/09/2025 0059hrs, Sgt. Clement received a 911 call at a residence on Starks Road in New Sharon. This was an accidental dial.
03/09/2025 0640hrs, Sgt. Sholan responded to a car vs. deer accident on route 27 in New Vineyard. Bethany Burnell (25) of Jay was driving a 2012 Ford Pickup northbound when the collision occurred.
03/09/2025 1009hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a car off the road on route 27 in New Vineyard. Cheryl Welch (66) of Farmington was driving a 2015 Chevy UT southbound when she tried to avoid an object in the road and drove off the road into a snowbank.
03/09/2025 1420hrs, Sgt. Sholan received a civil complaint at a residence on Main Street in Kingfield.
03/09/2025 1531hrs, Deputy Maccione received what turned out to be a walk in in child custody dispute at the Sheriff’s office which turned out to be civil in nature.
03/09/2025 1606hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Chesterville Hill Road in Chesterville.
03/09/2025 1656hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Main Street in Wilton.
03/09/2025 1748hrs, Deputy Maccione assisted Wilton Police with an investigation at a location off route 2 in Wilton.
03/09/2025 1842hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Weld Road in Phillips. Allie Farrington (17) of Jay was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger when she lost control and rolled the vehicle over. No injuries were reported.
03/09/2025 1843hrs, Sgt. Clement investigated a disturbance complaint at a residence on Cummings Hill Road in Temple. Disorderly conduct warnings were issued to all parties involved.
03/10/2025 0847hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a two-car accident on Main Street in Eustis. Christopher Carey (54) of Cornville was driving a 2008 Ford F-350 northbound and had signaled to turn right into the parking lot. Raven Kurtzman (22) of Eustis was driving a 2020 GMC Acadia and was attempting to leave the same parking lot. The Carey vehicle could not stop due to the road conditions and struck the Kurtzman vehicle as it was pulling out. No injuries were reported.
03/10/2025 0855hrs, Deputy Frost conducted a school visit at Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon.
03/10/2025 1051hrs, Deputy Frost conducted a warrant check at a residence on French road in Chesterville. As a result of the check, Tim Murray (44) of Chesterville was arrested on a Warrant.
03/10/2025 1406hrs, Deputy Morgan assisted a complainant at a residence on Parlin Road in Phillips by checking the house to ensure it was not occupied.
03/10/2025 1922hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to Maine Health Franklin in Farmington and arrested Marcus Thompson (39) of Phillips on a Warrant. He was transported to jail without incident.
03/10/2025 1953hrs, Deputy Gray received a theft complaint at a residence on Mt. Blue Pond Road in Avon. It was determined that this was a civil issue that originated years ago.
03/10/2025 2055hrs, Deputy Maccione conducted a Warrant arrest of Eli Davis (29) of Wilton at a residence on Canal Street. He was transported without incident.
03/11/20925 0822hrs, Deputy Zenteno responded to a trespassing complaint on Parlin Road in Phillips.
03/11/2025 0347hrs, Deputy Gray received a complaint of possible trespassers at a residence on Russell Street in Phillips. The complaint was unfounded, the complainant was hallucinating due to onset of dementia.
03/11/2025 0802hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to the jail to arrest Ryan Mayo (41) of Livermore Falls who had turned himself in on a Warrant.
03/11/2025 1409hrs, Deputy Frost received a welfare check request at a residence on Carthage Road in Carthage. This turned out to be a request for assistance from DHHS with one of their current cases.
03/11/2025 1438hrs, Deputy Zenteno arrested Brandy Campbell (44) of Phillips at her residence on a Warrant and transported her to jail.
03/11/2024 1444hrs, Deputy Brann received a request for a security escort at a residence on the Salem Road in Freeman Twp.
03/11/2025 1535hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a medical emergency regarding a person slumping over in a car on Rangeley Road in Phillips. As a result of the investigation Joshua Muise (34) of Jay was arrested for OUI and transported to jail.
03/12/2025 1405hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Horseshoe Pond Road in Chesterville. No charges were filed initially, one of the parties was transported to another residence.
03/12/2025 1211hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint of a gun being fired at a residence on the Lane Road which is near the Dollar General Store in New Sharon. This turned out to be a person who shot at a squirrel with a shotgun. He was educated on the law regarding shooting within a certain distance of other dwellings.
03/12/2025 1358hrs, Deputy Zenteno received a 911 call at a residence on Pine Street in Eustis. This was an accidental dial.
03/12/2025 1555hrs, Deputy Maccione investigated a complaint of fraud at a residence on Eustis Parkway in Eustis.
03/12/2025 1918hrs, Sgt. Couture investigated a reported disturbance between students at Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon.
03/12/2025 2110hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a 911 crash detection call on the Ridge Road in Chesterville. The crash was not located.
03/13/2025 0850hrs, Deputy Morgan received a posted road violation complaint on West Freeman Road in Freeman Twp.
03/13/2025 0700hrs, Deputy Wacome conducted a school visit at Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon.
03/13/2025 0920hrs, Deputy Wacome arrested Catherine Geren (34) of Industry on a Warrant after she had turned herself in at the Jail.
03/13/2025 1042hrs, Deputy Wacome received a fraud complaint at a residence on Basin Road in New Vineyard.
03/13/2025 1319hrs, Det. Davol conducted a school visit at Day Mountain Middle School in Strong.
03/13/2025 1349hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a parking lot accident at Randy Keach Garage in New Sharon.
03/13/2025 1712hrs, Deputy Gray received a parking complaint on Rangeley Road in Avon.
03/13/2025 1745hrs, Deputy Brann received a welfare check request at a residence on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon. The person to be checked was located and found to be okay.
03/13/2025 1855hrs, Deputy Gray investigated an accident on route 27 in Wyman Twp. where a person from Quebec, Jonathan Bouvette (33) was driving a 2016 Honda when his vehicle rear ended a large UPS truck being driven by Michael Barnes (53) of Waterville. No report was taken because it was a late report, and both parties had left the scene. No damage was done to the UPS vehicle.
03/13/2025 2240hrs, Sgt. Couture received a complaint from an individual who had multiple concerns about possibly being abducted, that someone had defrauded him of money, that he was locked out of his cell phone by the CIA along with other concerns. It was determined that the individual was not harmful to his person, no further action was taken.
03/13/2025 2255hrs, Deputy Gray and Deputy Brann responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Main Street in Kingfield. This was a person who was detoxing from fentanyl at their residence. No disturbance.
03/14/2025 0949hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to the jail to arrest Ellen Densmore (40) of Salem Twp. on a Warrant after she had turned herself in.
03/14/2024 1137hrs, Deputy Zenteno responded to a residential alarm on Durrell Way in Eustis. This was a false alarm.
03/14/2025 1446hrs, Deputy Wacome received a 911 call on Old Boston Road in Strong. This is an ongoing situation with 911 calls being generated in this area by error.
03/14/2025 2224hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a medical emergency at a residence in Dallas Plt.
03/14/2025 2134hrs, Sgt. Couture responded to a request for a K-9 on Hidden Circle in Jay.
Deputies conducted 4 elder checks, 46 building checks and responded to 4 false 911 calls and 1 false alarm.
